About these terms

Welcome to KDA BLANKET. These Terms & Conditions apply when you browse our website, place an order, purchase one of our blankets or communicate with us about an order.

We have written these terms in straightforward language because the important part is that you know what you are agreeing to. They explain the practical arrangements around ordering, payment, delivery, returns and use of our website.

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you have had an opportunity to read these terms before completing your purchase.

A simple point worth knowing

These terms work alongside your legal rights as a consumer. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or reduce a right that the law says cannot be removed or reduced.

Products & descriptions

KDA BLANKET offers wool, fleece and knitted throws and blankets in a range of sizes, colours, textures and styles for everyday home use, including sofas, beds and travel.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product names, photographs, descriptions, dimensions and other information shown on the website are clear and accurate.

Fabric texture, lighting, screen settings and the natural character of textile materials can sometimes make a product appear slightly different from an online photograph. Where a product has natural or textured characteristics, small variations can occur and do not necessarily mean that the item is incorrect.

Any measurements, colours, materials or other product information displayed on a product page should be considered together with the full product description before an order is placed.

Product quality

Our products remain subject to the consumer rights that apply to goods sold in the UK, including requirements concerning description, satisfactory quality and fitness for a particular purpose where applicable.

04

Prices & payment

The price displayed for a product is the price applicable at the time you place your order, unless an obvious pricing error has occurred.

Product prices and any applicable delivery charges are shown during the ordering process before you complete your purchase. Where applicable, the total amount due will be presented before the order is submitted.

You are responsible for providing accurate information during checkout and for ensuring that the payment details supplied are authorised for the purchase.

We do not normally make changes to the agreed product price after an order has been accepted. If there is an obvious and genuine pricing or listing error, we will contact you and explain the position before taking any further step that affects the order.

If an order cannot reasonably be fulfilled because of an obvious error, stock issue or another material problem, we may contact you to discuss the available options, including cancellation and repayment where appropriate.

05

Placing an order

When you place an order through our website, you are submitting a request to purchase the selected products at the displayed price and on the terms shown during checkout.

After your order is submitted, you should receive an email confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement confirms receipt of the order information; it does not necessarily mean that the order has already been dispatched.

We will accept an order when we are able to fulfil it and have completed the relevant order processing. If there is a genuine reason why an order cannot be fulfilled, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Please check your delivery address, product selection, size, colour and quantity carefully before completing your order. If you notice an error shortly after placing the order, contact us promptly and we will see what can be done before dispatch.

  • Orders should be placed using accurate customer and delivery information.
  • You should keep your order confirmation for your own records.
  • We may contact you if information required to complete an order is missing or unclear.
  • If an order has already been dispatched, changes may no longer be possible before delivery.
06

Delivery

We arrange delivery to the address supplied during checkout. Please make sure the address is complete and suitable for receiving the parcel.

Where tracking is available, tracking information will be provided through the normal order or dispatch communication. Delivery estimates are intended as practical guidance rather than a promise of an exact arrival time unless a specific delivery arrangement has been expressly agreed.

Situation What happens
Order ready for dispatch We prepare the selected items and arrange delivery to the address supplied.
Tracking available Tracking details may be supplied once the parcel enters the delivery network.
Delivery delay If a parcel is taking longer than expected, contact us and we will review the available tracking or delivery information.
Incorrect address supplied Contact us as soon as possible. If the parcel has already been dispatched, changes may not be possible.
Parcel received Please check the package and product within a reasonable time and contact us promptly if there is an issue.

Delivery arrangements do not remove any legal rights you may have where goods are not delivered as agreed or where another remedy applies under consumer law.

07

Returns & exchanges

We want returns to be straightforward. Our separate Return & Exchange Policy explains the practical process, including how to contact us, the condition expected for change-of-mind returns, exchange arrangements and refund timing.

For online consumer orders, statutory cancellation rights may apply. These rights operate separately from any additional return or exchange arrangements that we choose to offer.

Where you are exercising a statutory cancellation right, the applicable legal time limits and conditions will apply. For other voluntary exchanges or return arrangements, our Return & Exchange Policy will explain the relevant process.

Please keep the original packaging where practical

Keeping the product, packaging and order information together can make a return easier to process. This does not remove any statutory right that applies where a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the required legal standard.

Our first return or exchange shipment is offered free of charge in accordance with our stated return arrangements. Any further return or exchange request may be considered individually depending on the circumstances.

08

Faulty, incorrect or unsuitable goods

If you receive an item that is faulty, materially different from its description, incorrect or otherwise does not meet the applicable legal standard, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We may ask for photographs or other information so that we can understand what has happened. This is simply to help us identify the issue and decide the appropriate next step.

What we may need

Order number, description of the issue, photographs where useful, and confirmation of the product received.

Possible solutions

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, the appropriate solution may include a refund, replacement, repair or another remedy.

We will not use these terms to exclude responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Consumer rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods continue to apply.

09

Using our website

We aim to keep the KDA BLANKET website available, useful and accurate. Like any online service, however, the website may occasionally need maintenance, updates or temporary technical work.

Product availability, photographs, descriptions, layout and other website content may be updated from time to time. Changes to website content do not affect an order that has already been accepted except where a change is necessary to correct an error or deal with an issue affecting the order.

  • Please use the website only for lawful purposes.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with the normal operation or security of the website.
  • Do not knowingly introduce harmful code, files or material.
  • Do not copy or reuse our website content in a way that infringes applicable rights.
  • Do not use information from the website to mislead other customers.

We may temporarily restrict access to parts of the website when maintenance, security work or technical updates are required.

10

Liability & reasonable limits

We take reasonable care when operating the website, processing orders and arranging delivery. However, some events are outside our reasonable control, including certain delivery-network interruptions, technical failures and circumstances affecting third-party services.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. In particular, these terms are not intended to exclude responsibility for matters that the law does not allow a business to exclude or limit.

Subject to those mandatory rights and responsibilities, we are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been expected to result from the relevant circumstances or for matters outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Plain-English disclaimer

This page is intended to explain the way our online shop operates. It is not intended to replace applicable consumer legislation, and no wording on this page should be read as taking away a legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11

Privacy & customer information

When you place an order, we need certain information to process and deliver it, such as your name, contact details and delivery address.

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.

Information supplied during checkout should be accurate and kept up to date where it is necessary for us to contact you about your order.

Our Privacy Policy explains in more detail how customer information is collected, used, stored and protected.

12

General terms

These terms are intended to provide a clear framework for purchases made through KDA BLANKET. If part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to operate to the extent permitted by law.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the website, our ordering arrangements or applicable requirements. The version presented when an order is placed will normally be the version relevant to that purchase, subject to any mandatory legal requirements that apply.

If we do not immediately enforce a particular provision, that does not necessarily mean that we have permanently waived the right to rely on it.

These terms do not prevent you from relying on any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to your purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you.

Where a disagreement arises, we would prefer to resolve it directly and reasonably with the customer first. Please contact us with your order details and a clear explanation of the matter so that we can review it properly.
